New Years Resolutions

Thinking about the New Year, there are several resolutions I’ve made and intend to keep:
  • Lose 10-15 lbs by summer. This includes not eating ANY fried foods or drinking any soda (unless it’s diet)… so far I’ve been able to do both (with the exception of last night…oops). I’ll also need to start exercising on a regular basis. My goal is to workout for 1 hour or more, 3 times a week.
  • Invest $5,000 in various liquid assets.
  • Continue to volunteer with Girl Scouts and Religious Education; it’s one of the only things that allow me to feel like I may be able to make a difference, even if it’s just for a couple hours a week. Possibly do some fundraising for Girl Scouts to allow us to go on more outings.
  • Read 10 + books. It’s easier said than done, but I figured thar 10 seemed like a reasonable expectation for myself.
  • Try not to nag Adam as much over little, petty things.
  • Spend more time with my family and friends. It’s hard to get back to Michigan, so I’d like to make/spend more time with “local” friends.
  • Bring my lunch to work 3-4 days/week to limit my spending at lunch.
  • I only have one body so I should start taking better care of it. I want to put forth an effort to get enough rest, drink enough water, and get enough vitamins.

I'm with you on the 10-15 pounds. We should do it together so we look good for our Hampton trip this summer!
