So I realize that I’ve neglected my blog for far too long. I would love to give a detailed summary of everything that’s happened since my birthday, however I don’t have the time and I’m sure nobody would like the read the novel that would entail. Instead I will summarize the past 3 months of my life with a simple bulleted list, and photos.
- Celebrated Halloween as Saved by the Bell characters with my best friend Kendra in Port Jeff. See Kendra's post for more a details.
- Flew home to Michigan to celebrate my sisters 20th birthday the same weekend that I threw Emily her bridal shower and bachelorette party in early November.

- Moved from Sales to Project Management at my current employer which has meant that I am actually enjoying my work.
- Came home for Thanksgiving, Emily’s wedding and to celebrate birthdays.
Ate Thanksgiving dinner with Adam’s family for the 4th consecutive year. I still cannot believe it’s been so long!
Gave my maid of honor speech at Emily’s wedding where I said I was honored to be her best man. I’ve been known to say/do some pretty funny stuff but this was completely unintended so I’m glad that everyone had a good laugh.

Celebrated my Dad, Adam and Grandmother’s birthdays with Adam’s family when everyone was back in Michigan for Thanksgiving.
- Celebrated Adam’s 25th birthday in Rochester, NY with his family.
- Went to court in early December and had to go to court and pay $400.00 for two bogus tickets I received back in October.
- Flew back to Michigan from December 23rd-December 27th
Visited with my dad’s side of the family on the 23rd at a small gathering at my parent’s house.
Went to Kendra’s parent’s house and visited with her entire immediate and extended family, as well as one of our best friends from high school, Carl.
Had dinner in Brighton with my friend from college, Abbie on Christmas Eve.

Went to Midnight mass with my family…one of my favorite Christmas traditions.
Opened presents with my family on Christmas morning (probably the best part of Christmas), followed by brunch, desert and more presents with my grandma.
Shared Christmas evening with Adam’s family at his Aunt’s house.
Visited with Adam’s grandmother and Aunt, Uncle and cousin from his fathers side of the family on the 26th.
Went to dinner in Royal Oak to meet up with our college friends, also on the 26th.
- Flew from Detroit to Orlando on the 27th to celebrate the holidays with Adam’s family while vacationing in Disney World.
Flight to Orlando:
Missed connecting flight
Had to wait 3 hours for next flight which we were on stand by for
Told there was only 1 seat in coach and would need to purchase 1st class seat in order to get on the plane.
Found out there were two seats in coach at the last minute when Adam was at the Service Center inquiring about the cost to upgrade. Called Adam to have him come back to the departure gate.
Airline worker behind the counter said they couldn’t hold the plane to wait for my boyfriend and would have to take the next two people on the stand by list.
Screamed at airline worker and nearly jumped behind the counter to wring his neck when I saw Adam running to the gate.
Got on plane only to realize there only appeared to be one seat in coach because someone put their child in a seat when they were supposed to be sitting on their lap and weren’t issued a seat.
Closed the plane door and told one of us to sit in the empty coach seat and for one of us to grab a seat in first class.
Adam let me take the seat in first class which allowed me to finally calm down.
Arrived in Orlando 4 hours later than originally scheduled but it felt so good to finally be there.
Exchanged gifts with Adam’s family at the hotel.
Hopped from Disney Park to Park for 4 days eating tons of expensive food and enjoying gorgeous 80 degree weather.

Celebrated the New Year with a delicious dinner at The Brown Derby at MGM Studios, followed by drinks and fireworks and Epcot.
Got up at 5:00am to make out 8:30am flight to Newark. Luckily we had no problems on the return flight and were greeted at our arrival gate by our friends Mark and Becky who were flying home to Michigan after spending the weekend in New Jersey celebrating the New Year with our college friends.
Met our college friends downstairs who drove us home, and then hung out with them for the next two evenings they were in town.
As you can see my holidays have been filled with friends and family. Although 2006 is now behind me I cannot wait to see with 2007 holds for me.
