Thought I would title this post with a quote from some piece of Jersey trash we encountered at the bar.
My friends response to this comment: "That's ok, because you're the fattest girl I've ever met."
Yes my friends, it was one of those weekends at the Jersey shore. There was a lot of drinking which led to a variety of things for the people and visitors of 211 Third Ave. It was an exciting weekend to say the least. I will definately not go into any details!
Anyways, Andrea (my cousin) made her second appearance and the shore this weekend, and we had another fabulous time. After being stuck in traffic for 6 hours, she finally arrived at my apartment at around 6:00pm on Friday, and we were off to Manasquan. I was a little nervous as to how she was going to react to Adam, let alone when he is drunk. They got along well, so hopefully no stories will go floating around the Steinhauser family as they so frequently do. I think that everyone (well mostly everyone) had a fun time at the shore. It was pouring rain on Friday and the forecast called for rain all weekend. "Since when can weathermen predict the weather, let alone the future" (quote from Adam's favorite movie, Back to the Future.) Luckily this weekend they didn't come close. It was gorgeous on Saturday and Sunday, so we took advantage of the gorgeous weather, and stuck around till about 4:00 on Sunday. Judging by the traffice we hit on the way home, I can see why people tend to leave earlier on Sunday. After arriving back home, I showered and picked up Adam to head to Darren's house. He said he lived in the boonies, and he wasn't exagerating. Jim gave us the wrong directions, and we finally arrived to his house an hour later. It worth the trouble. Darren has a gorgeous house with a large deck overlooking the lake in his backyard. Jim brought his sisters dog, Raider over to visit with me, and he made my night. We finally got home after midnight, and needless to say Monday was a long work day b/c I was so tired.
Today after work, I went to the gym and then came back and took a shower. I went to dinner w/ 4 of the guys from the shore. Adam was playing basketball late and couldn't make it. He'll have to come with us again though. They gave us a ton of food, and its very inexpensive. I actually was honored that the guys thought of me, and am happy they did. Thanks guys! It's always nice to see everyone. I really do appreciate you all befriending a big mouthed girl from the midwest.
Well that is all for about now. I'm going to make it an early night... Goodnight
