Exhausted!

After another exhausting week at work, it's finally the weekend! Not much has happened this past week. Adam was out of town on business from Monday-Thursday so I spent most of the work week working late.
On Monday night I stuck around the office until 8:30pm and vowed to leave ON TIME Tuesday.
Tuesday night Mason and I went to see Ghost Rider for free movie night. It was good to get out of work a little early and be able to vent with someone who understands my frustrations at the office.
Wednesday was Ash Wednesday so Diana and I got cheese pizza together since both of our significant others were traveling. After dinner we went to 7:30pm mass at our local church. I was planning on giving up swearing and soda for lent, however, after a very rough work week the swearing was ruined within several hours. The soda would have been easy but I seemed to forget and had soda with my pizza. I'm not really sure if there's anything else I should try to give up, or that I would be willing to give up. I'm going to try to attend mass each Sunday as it seems that the more hectic work gets, the more I want to sleep in on the couple days that I can sleep in. I will try to go to a later Sunday mass or maybe even a Saturday evening mass. I'm also going to try to hit the gym 2-3 times a week. This was my new years resolution and after being sick for over a month I haven't been there since before the holidays!!!
Thursday night I was asleep after Grey's Anatomy and didn't see Adam until 11:30pm when he woke me up with his kisses and hugs... I just wanted to sleep! It's crazy though how much you miss someone when they're gone. Our small apartment felt empty without Adam around, and our HUGE bed feels too big without someone to share it with. It's times like these that I wish we were able to have a dog in our apartment... at least it would be someone to cuddle with.
Last night I babysat after work and made it home by 9:30pm to have a small dinner with Adam and crash by 10:30pm.
This morning I got up at 6:45am and headed into work for a couple hours. It's amazing how much work you can get done without meetings, emails and other people to interupt you. I don't want to make it a habit of going to work on Saturday but since I was out by 10:30am, it didn't make for too long of a day.
After work I came home, showered and Adam and I headed into the city to meet up with Kendra and an old fried of mine from high school, Michelle. Since I had to babysitt tonight, I only stuck around for lunch and then headed back to NJ for what I'm hoping will be a relatively relaxing night. I could certainly use it!!!
Oh, and on another note I finally had my follow-up X-ray for pneumonia and I'm back to normal! YAY!
