As I was enjoying buffalo wings and beer on Tuesday night with Adam and Walt I thought of some of my favorite things about summer:
The feeling of sand between my toes and sun on my face
Tailgating before a concert
Walking outside on a warm night eating an ice cream cone
Driving with all the windows down and letting the wind whip my hair around while listening to some of my favorite music... or driving with Walt in his convertible where I always know I can find some quality country tunes :)
Sleeping in on Saturday letting the cool breeze and summer noises wake me up
Eating at a restaurant with outdoor seating and a great view (i.e. Hoboken or NYC)
Taking long drives to Port Jefferson to visit Kendra and enjoying her new balcony... it's going to be even better now that it's warm
Corona w/ a lime
Cake Batter Ice Cream
Getting a tan
I'm getting so excited... it's too bad this weekends forecast isn't looking very promising :(

You, Walt and your country. Other than that, I second all of your favorites. I'm especially feeling the cake batter ice cream right now...I need to get a carton of Take the Cake before it dissapears along with American Idol. It's the best, you know.
