On Friday night I went out for a much needed drink with some friends from work. Adam and Walt ended up meeting up with us since Adam had dropped my car off at the dealership and forgot to pick it up. We made it home fairly early for a Friday night and got to bed early enough that I was up by 7:00am on Saturday.
Saturday morning we went out for Breakfast and picked up my car. I had Adam take my car in for an oil change on Friday and also to complain that when they resurfaced my routers last month it didn't seem to work as my wheel was still shaking/vibrating when I would break at high speeds. So he takes it in, and when I go to pick it up they had replaced my routers at no charge (well I guess it was kinda no charge since I had just paid $300.00 for the original work to be done). Anyways, I was happy and it looks like Adam will be taking my car in for all of its work. I really hate how service shops try to screw women!
After picking up my car we went to the mall before it got to be too packed. I picked up a couple things and we headed home to watch the MSU game. Sarah and Fink came over and we watched the Spartans win their 3rd game of the season (it was a little too close of a game, but I'm glad we pulled it off). We also watched UofM kill ND which didn't make us too happy.
Saturday night I had to babysitt and then I came home and tried to go to bed. Adam was in the city with Walt so I was up worrying about him for most of the night, but since I had a fairly relaxing day it didn't seem to effect me too much since I was up around 7:00am on Sunday.
I got a pretty early start to my day on Sunday and took the Ferry into the city to meet up with Justin and Kendra. We ended up having lunch and then heading into midtown to meet up with Justins friend Yoav. We hung out and got Mexican food for dinner. I wish I was feeling better otherwise I probably would have ate more. I think stress, being sick and other things have made me a little nauseous lately, but I'm sure that will get better with time. It ended up being a really fun day and I'm glad I decided to do something yesterday so my weekend wasn't a complete wash.
Tomorrow I'm heading to Ohio for work, but the rest of the week looks pretty open. I'm looking forward to Satruday when we're going into the city to tailgate and watch the MSU/ND game. Lets hope the Spartans can make it 4-0 this weekend...
